Becky Shintaku

Hi! My name is Becky Shintaku. I am happy to call Santa Cruz my home. Shortly after moving here in 2011, I began Cosmetology School at Shoreline in Capitola. This was one of the best decisions of my life. I have only fallen more and more in love with what I do as time passes.

Since working behind the chair, I have taken countless classes through many leading names in the industry. As a matter of fact, I make continuing my education as a stylist a priority. I love learning the latest in styling, product knowledge, haircutting, balayage/ blonding techniques and I am certified by DevaCurl to specialize in curly hair. In July 2019 I started here at Craft and joined my dream team. I feel so fortunate to be a part of salon culture where we encourage, inspire and truly support each other.

One of my favorite things about my job is that I get the opportunity to connect with the people in my chair and get to know others from our community. I absolutely love meeting new clients. Its very important to me to listen to each of my clients and have a thorough consultation to fully understand their wishes and concerns. I like to work with my clients to give them what’s best for their hair and lifestyle. I look forward to meeting you!
